What can actually be done to stop this?

Reply from Frank and Mary

Dear Steven:

A few years ago, some pets were tortured and killed, and the public outcry caused most US States to adopt felony animal cruelty laws, even though they are limited to pets. We are trying to build the same kind of public outcry for other animals, and cause the adoption of new laws, or the amendment and enforcing of existing laws.

So, what can we do to stop the cruelty? We can speak out to every one we know, and ask them to do the same and to write letters to the editor and to elected officials. The more of us that do this, the sooner the animals will be protected and have the rights not be used and exploited by humans.
