From Calista - 25 Mar 2007 I think those factory owners should have such sufferings to themselves. Some are caused by laziness like taking out the corpse and leaving it on top of the cage. Cant they throw it away? Moreover, what do the people do there? Giving them food, what else? Why don’t they make it a point every day to make sure that all are in proper conditions and not having legs or heads stuck. I think people hired to handle animals should have compassion and at least care for the animals, not only caring for their pay. The government should also allow more spaces for such farming so that the hens can walk freely around and be fed at appropriate times. People must be informed of such cruelty. Hand it to the newspapers and government. Only if they would help ... Calista
Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Calista: The factory battery hen houses run mostly by automation. Almost no care or attention is given to the hens. Please tell as many people as you can. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
