OF THE LIGHTI began today all alone.
Least wise that was what I did believe.
For I had forgot what I should have known And in despair alone I did grieve.
Thus it was alone I sat in despair.
Alone with my darkness was I did perceive.
Grieve I did for someone my time to share.
Alone I was that terrible day.
Alone I was in a darkness of night.
Until a flickering light, came my way.
A light came my way sinning ever so bright.
A light that broke the darkness, of my despair!
My despair was thus broken by that true light.
A flickering candle my darkness now did share.
That light into my life it came shinning for me.
And with that light I knew I was not alone there.
For in this light was knowledge I needed to see.
Knowledge telling me of the friends I have who care.
Thus you see I learned I truly was not alone.
For with friends there is always someone there.
Thus is the lesson I should have known.
