Preparation

This recipe will make 6 to 8 servings, and can be made in a blender or food processor.

Begin by washing the cranberries in a colander under running water and removing any extraneous matter or bad cranberries, and put them in the blender or food processor container.

Wash and clean the apples, cut into quarters and remove the stems and core. Place the apple pieces with the cranberries, and add the cinnamon and stevia.

Cover the blender or food processor container and run the machine at medium to high speed until the desired consistency is reached. Mix as necessary to achieve uniform processing.

Taste the cranberry apple sauce for sweetness, and if necessary add a little additional stevia extract and mix thoroughly.

Store in a closed container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Enjoy!

Vegan FlagThe above recipe is in keeping with God's creation intent (Genesis 1:29-31): 'Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-- everything that has the breath of life in it-- I give every green plant for food." And it was so. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.' (NIV) Let no animal suffer or die that we may live!
