From Aimee L. Jason - 7 Feb 2007

My heart is bleeding for the poor animals in this world. I never heard of the Raccoon Dog before and I love animals and have such a soft spot for them. As I sit hear on my laptop, tears flow down my cheeks cause it hurts to see how humans can be so cruel to animals.

I have a hard time watching movies where the animal is hurt or killed. I try to tell my self that they are not being hurt because the Humane Society is making sure of it but it still bothers me. Most of the time I get to the point that I have to turn the movie or show off. I couldnt even watch new version of the King Kong movie, I just cant stand it to see him caught and then die for the love of a woman.

Please add me to your mailing list if you have one. I would like to be updated on info about your site and endangered species all over the world.

I must say that I am not a Vegan but I dont consume a lot of meat in my diet. I do love sea food though. I just have a hard time cooking live crabs because I am killing them.

I also do not wear any furs. I am totally against it. I use to have a Chinchilla. His name was Chino. He passed away 6 years ago. I loved that little guy so much. I also owned a shark. His name was Ahab. He passed away 4 years ago. I had him since he was a pup. I now have a dilute calico name Cali. Shes 5 and will be 6 this year. Shes very spoiled and sweet. Shes my best buddy and I dont know what life would be like without her.

I pray to God for all animals to find a safe haven in this cruel world. I dont understand how people can be so cruel to helpless animals. I always say to my friends and family that if someone can be cruel to a helpless animal they definitely wouldnt hesitate to be cruel to another human being.

Thank you for your time and for reading my email. I wish you many continued blessings in your crusade for ending animal cruelty.

Peace and Blessings,

Aimee L. Jason

Dear Aimee:

Thank you very much for writing and for telling us about your feelings and family. We dont have a mailing list of alerts, but we do post Action Alerts on our web site, and we have an Animal Rights Activism section that should also be of help to you. We also post new items on our What's New page.

We hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing from you again.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
