Genesis 4:6 – Bible Commentary
Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
This is still a time when the Lord is speaking directly to human beings.
God asks a question to get Cain to really think about who he is and where his focus is: is it upon himself or is it upon the Lord and His heavenly ways?
