Dear Friends,

We hear so many times — from both faith-based vegans and non-vegans — that there are “no vegan theologians or faith-based vegan authors in the world.” When this comes up, I share our site, All-Creatures.org, and the many free resources we provide. Then I point people toward books by some of my many favorite vegan theologians, pastors, scholars, and writers who are also helping usher in a more compassionate, faith-based, vegan way of living.

And as you can probably guess, I love to read everything surrounding faith-based veganism and animal rights. For those who know me personally, you also know how much I love bookstores, and that I have volunteered in and quietly provided free consulting behind the scenes for certain bookstores and other non-profits for more than fifteen years — first in Georgia, and now here in Michigan. Since moving to Michigan in 2023, I have continued to volunteer at a vegan-owned independent bookstore, EVERYbody Reads in Lansing – and they so generously held a fundraiser for us in 2024 and raised $1,000 for All-Creatures.org! That was an amazing and appreciated gift from a small independent vegan-owned bookstore — especially at a time when so many bookstores are working hard to survive while competing against large online retailers that can offer deep discounts.

We, like other non-profits, are supported by our contributors. So, I continued to pray for the last two years about how I might combine a love of books, the need for easy access to faith-based vegan materials for our All-Creatures.org audience, and to increase donations for All-Creatures.org (The Mary T. and Frank L. Hoffman Family Foundation). Then a way was revealed ... via Bookshop.org. After a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we are delighted to introduce our very own All-Creatures.org affiliate link through Bookshop.org!

When you purchase books through our affiliate link, All-Creatures.org will receive 10% of each sale as a donation from Bookshop.org to us. This will help support our nonprofit tremendously. And in return, you will have a place to shop where we, a vegan & animal advocacy organization, are thoughtfully gathering and vetting books for you to read, share, and treasure. We have been working hard behind the scenes in creating 27 categories and picking books and are now ready to highlight the first category in our multi-category vegan affiliate shop: All-Creatures.org - Faith-based category — of course! :) And here are all 27 categories!
