The neighbors therefore, and those who previously saw him as a beggar, were saying, “Is not this the one who used to sit and beg?”
We hope we’ve all noticed how quickly the disbelief of this man’s neighbors has crept in, which is really a denial of the miraculous work of God.
This kind of questioning usually indicates someone’s lack of faith, for if they really believed that they were seeing a miracle, they would have just praised God.
