About Our Web Site Activity -

One of the three goals in our Mission Statement is: "To provide an Internet Archival Library (www.all-creatures.org) of educational materials to assist both teachers and students in the furtherance of cruelty-free living."

We began our web site in January 1998.

The number of published documents has been increasing ever since:

Web Site Traffic

In October of 1998 we moved our web site to another server to try to increase interest in our web site.  The number of accesses nearly doubled the first week after the change.  Above is a graph of the total number of accesses we have received each week from 4 October 1998 through 1 February 2003.

By the end of January 2003, we were exceeding the traffic allocation for our server, and we made arrangements to move our web site to a new dedicated server, which would allow us to increase our traffic by more than 30 times.  By the end of 2004, we again had to update our server.  We now can handle 200 times as much traffic as we originally had.  We are now operating from the new server. (See graph below)

The data from  the weeks of 9 Feb 2003, 28 Mar 2004, 3 Feb 2008, and 24 Feb 2008 is incomplete and should be ignored.

From the above graph we can see the dramatic increase in our web site traffic.  In just two years we have grown from slightly over 600,000 accesses a week to about 7,000,000 accesses a week.  Our compassionate message is definitely getting out into the world!

The total number of visitors had been growing dramatically each year until the Spring of 2007 when we lost the majority of our young visitors to our Animal Exploitation sections. We have not been able to confirm the exact reason. On 28 Feb 2011 when Google changed their algorithms, we began to experience a major drop in traffic.

The reason for the difference between the number of visitors and the number of accesses is that our average visitor looks at several documents.

As of 22 Jul 2008, the following information was no longer available.

From the above, it appears that we have been exceeding the goal we set for The Foundation when we began our Internet ministry.
